Carol had to say...

I read mostly Horror and Mystery Thrillers.  I do also read some science fiction.  I raise Pomeranian puppies.  We sell Nascar racing jackets.

I like horror and mystery books, but have an interest, at times, for other kinds of books such as science fiction and mythology.

I have a collection of Stephen King's books and am looking to finish off my collection.  Other than that, I don't really have a collection of anything except Harry Potter.  The Stephen King and Harry Potter books, I want to keep.

I am a member of the Horror Club through Dorchester Publishing.  I am a member in the Science Fiction club and Mystery Guild also.

Carol..I used to read Stephen King..his writing style changed quite a few years ago and I quit reading his material...I loved his older books like "The Stand" ....does he have any that aren't so dark ???..I read mostly floppy books by new writers....I would love to open a resale clothing store, but I don't have the money or the guts, I guess, and don't want to lose my freedom...I work 2 days a week in a children's dress shop...I find it very boring....Linda...I have a Great Pyreneese dog that is 8 months old, weighs 70 lbs and is in obedience class...Linda

Stephen King has a few that aren't so dark, as far as my opinion.  The Dark Tower series was not that dark.  The Girl who loved Tom Gordon, was only dark in a few areas.  Delories Clayborn was not so dark.    Most of his books are somewhat dark, but they really get you imagining and thinking, a few were just kind of weird.
